Alex Tabarrok (an influential economist blogger) thinks that the antiusury lobby are "credit snobs" and only the rich can handle it and some governments, also tink that by denying expensive credit to the poor they would be doing them a favour. \r\n\r\nIn fact, poor people can make good use of borrowed money because it will help them to keep their jobs, put food on the table and build up a credit history.\r\n\r\nIn The Economist
