"During the first few years of our engagement, in particular, income-generating\r\nactivities were conducted in cooperation with women’s groups. Refugee women\r\nand war widows learned technical skills, attended basic literacy courses and acquired\r\nnew orientation and knowledge. Civic Education Programmes for women’s\r\ngroups from different communities were conducted in cooperation with the Afghan\r\nWomen’s Network.
